The Plague Doctor is a figure that would go into areas infested with the bubonic plague to treat people suffering from the ailment.

Today, they’re symbolic of a variety of things: Resilience, surviving in the face of adversity, a sense of duty, a rejection of conformity, the darker aspects of life, and a sign of society rebounding from a mass sickness.

Some might say they’re the perfect antihero. That makes the Plague Doctor a perfect mascot for the Unwoke Wiki.
