2024 is the year of the antihero, and the plague doctor will be our mascot.

The Plague Doctor is a testament to the inherent goodness found within humanity—a manifestation of the indomitable spirit that compels certain individuals to confront perilous situations head-on, disregarding personal safety for the sake of others. It embodies the selfless sacrifice necessary to bring healing and protection to those most vulnerable. They also represent resilience, surviving in the face of adversity, a sense of duty, a rejection of conformity, the darker aspects of life, and a sign of society rebounding from a mass sickness.
